The purpose of this website is to present my cardiology patients with information on health and nutrition, as it may relate to them in an easy to read format and with the intention of promoting good health. The information presented both on this site and through the available links to external sites is therefore intended for residents of Canada, and specifically for those patients under my care.
My goal is to educate my patients so that they can make the necessary changes in order to improve their health and live both a healthier and a longer life.
This can be achieved by creating a strategy of a regular exercise program, along with a balanced diet, and stress reduction techniques.
We are each born with our own unique set of genes, and each exposed to our own particular environment , much of which is of our own choosing. This blend of influences is very important. It defines our own health and longevity and has been drawing much attention as researchists try to better understand the things that help us to remain healthy as we grow older. Even as we try to learn more about this, one thing is for certain........
Your odds of living a 'long and healthy life' are much greater if you slow down and invest the time and effort in doing a few simple things.
Take the time to :
eat a healthy balanced diet,
learn to relax your mind,
get a good night's sleep
